With two decades as America’s #1 selling midsize sedan under its belt, the Toyota Camry keeps meeting and exceeding expectations every year. The 2023 year will be no different – the 2023 Camry will be boasting a renewed Nightshade Special Edition. One of the first among Toyota’s lineup to have a Nightshade edition, the Camry will once again be shaking things up with new Nightshade colors, rims, and a bevy of other features that are sure to pique your interest.

One of the biggest changes with this new Nightshade edition is the switch from gloss black wheels to 19-inch matte bronze aluminum alloy wheels. The color on these rims is incredibly striking, and even more so when set against any of the three exterior body colors offered in Nightshade edition. Included in those colors are White, Midnight Black, and the newest color: the breathtaking Reservoir Blue.

The Nightshade edition lends the 2023 Camry the appearance of a luxe sports car, due in large part to the distinctive front grille with Sport Mesh, the mirror caps, exterior badges, and black rear spoiler. Also new to the new Nightshade edition are black-trimmed headlights and taillights, adding an extra layer of attitude to an already gorgeous car.

Reliable Fuel Economy

Given the rising prices of fuel, economy has shot to the top of many car buyer’s checklists. The Camry line has always had good fuel efficiency ratings and we are happy to announce that has not changed.

Coming in at the top is the LE Hybrid, with an estimated 51 miles per gallon (mpg) in the city, 53 mpg on the highway, and 52 mpg combined. Another great choice is the LE front-wheel drive (FWD) gas trim, having an estimated 29 mpg city, 39 mpg highway, and 32 mpg combined.

All Camry models are built for comfort and smoothly responsive driving, and the 2023 Nightshade edition is no different. The Camry feels incredibly solid on the road, the MacPherson-type strut front suspension in tandem with the multi-link rear suspension give the Camry the kind of remarkable balance you would expect to find in luxury vehicles.
