Taking Care of Your Toyota Recalls

Toyota is known for its quality, and sometimes parts need replacement. For instance, a blower on a car or truck might be defective and need to be replaced. A blower blows cold or warm air in your car or vehicle. You might notice problems with the blower blowing cool or warm air in your vehicle. Perhaps it runs well at high speed but not in traffic. For recalls, there is no cost, and the repair is free. You will have to call our service department for recalls so we can order the part and make an appointment for repair.

Sometimes, Toyota will issue a recall voluntarily when it identifies parts that cause trouble or need repair. They recalled sliding power doors in their minivans to address driver safety. Sliding doors may get stuck, or owners have trouble closing them. Other recalls include the software in Toyota vehicles not working properly. This happens in newer models, and warning signs might be a check engine light coming on or other dashboard warning lights.

Toyota will order and replace all software that is part of a recall problem. Often, these repairs may just require a software patch. Sometimes, software on some models needs to be updated or reprogrammed. It can become disabled or not work correctly.

In some climates, the frames on the Toyota truck get rusted. They will replace frames on recalled vehicles and treat those that are rusted. Other recalls are seatbelts that, under severe conditions, do not work. Our service center will replace seatbelts in Toyota vehicles that have been recalled. Many of the recalls are voluntary and show Toyota’s commitment to customer safety.

Sometimes, backup lights in the back of the vehicles stop working and need to be replaced due to a faulty part. When lights stop working, accidents occur.
